Writing Coaches are available for in-person one-on-one consultations in the Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Lansing, or Jackson, Michigan areas. Consultations via phone or online are available to all United States residents. Writing workshops are also available to groups of five or more (Groups save 50% per person on fees listed below).
Presentations for large groups in other areas around the United States may be scheduled as time permits by emailing consultant@writernetwork.com.

*Note: The Orientation Package provides a brief overview of each of these five components and offers suggestions regarding presenting the author's work. It does not include detailed help in reading or writing the author's materials.

WRITE OF WAY COMPREHENSIVE BOOK PACKAGE
Writing Coaches present a guided hands-on tour on how to prepare a manuscript for proposal*:
- Query Letter: Writing coaches provide samples and assist author in writing a query letter to fit their manuscript's needs.
- Manuscript Outline: Writing coaches provide samples and help authors draft outlines of their plots/points for their manuscript proposal.
- Marketing Report: Writing coaches suggest specific marketing resources customized to the author's manuscript.
- Sample Chapters: Writing coaches read three sample chapters--provided ahead of time--and provide specific, detailed conceptual and grammatical editing advice.
- Author Bio: Writing coaches guide author in reviewing life experience, employment, and writing history to craft an attention getting author biography.
- Market Selection: Writing coaches assist the author in selecting markets appropriate for their books.
- General Q & As: Writing coaches offer specific advice or resources customized to author's needs.

EDITING SERVICES VIA EMAIL OR SNAIL MAIL:
Writing coaches are available to thoroughly review manuscripts and provide detailed feedback. This type of review is exceptionally valuable to writers who desire to present editors with the most polished version of their work.
This service includes:
- Copy Editing (Provides general suggestions on vocabulary selection, capitalization, tone problems, or formatting issues)
- Conceptual Editing (Improves clarity of content, logic flow, and consistency of material/voice. Identifies problem sentences, such as run-ons or fragments.)
- Formatting (Suggestions on how to set-up page margins, spacing, indenting etc. according to industry standards)
All editing is provided via a detailed Editing Report that even the newest writer will find easy to understand.
Editing of this nature is provided at the following flat rate, which is generally less expensive than most per-word or per-page quotes considered standard in the industry.
Books less than 200 pages
